Static design of the structure composed of combination of steel and structural glass

The objective of the bachelor thesis is to design the load-bearing construction system and its cladding made of a combination of steel and structural glass and to verify its sufficient resistance. The object has rectangular floor plan with dimensions of 7,5x10,5 m and and its total height is 24,5 m. The building is located at the suburban area of the city Ostrava, precisely Ostrava Poruba. The construction is composed of a ground floor and six upper floors. The main load-bearing system consists of steel frame formed by six tubular columns connected beams and sway bracings ensuring the spatial rigidity of the structure. The object was designed according to currently valid standards using ULS and SLS verification.
Wall crane

This bachelor thesis deals with a construction proposal of wall revolving crane. The aim is to suggest main load-bearing constructions. It describes its suggestion including processing of important strength calculations. A proposed crane enables rotation, unloading arm 2 500 mm of maximum weight 1 000 kg. The work also talks about a suitable block and tackle and includes introductory research part of the present topic, choice of different conceptions. An important part of the thesis is its drawing documentation.
The roof structure of a bus station with facilities in Vrchlabí

The subject of bachelor's thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of bus station in Vrchlabí. It is designed as a co-operating load-bearing steel pillar based structure with the construction of the outdoor platform. The design was considered in four different options for inner building. Followed was mainly the weight of inner structure with respect to the roof deck. The selected option is then incorporated into the scope of the entire structure. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using a computer program Scia Engineer.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is the projection and appraisal of the reinforced concrete floor slab above the first overground storey at the ultimate limit state I. To address the internal forces the computing software SCIA Engineer is used. The floor slab is supported by reinforced concrete columns. The thesis includes tha making of static calculations, shape drawing and drawings of the reinforcement.

It is concernerd of a momolithic ferroconcrete scelet construction with a console panel. The weighting is put over to separate footing. The summary of the bachelor’s work is based upon dimenzation and designing elements of load-bearing construction accordance with ultimate limit state. Result of the each static calculation is design of armature .
